Here is what I have used:

Reading and writing:

Loads of reading. Otherwise we are going to use games and the Brave Writer lifestyle and Partnership Writing for language arts learning.

Handwriting:

Copywork, related to read aloud or using this Joke Book

Math:

Tried to find balance between instruction via worksheets/workbooks and hands-on work.

Collected on my pinterest board, Math and Science

Science:

I want to continue to encourage her interests in science so I’ve scouted out classes, activities, etc. she’d enjoy.

Nature study using Hanbook of Nature Study and OHC

Gardening

Audubon Adventures taught at local nature center

Citizen Science projects

Science centers and children’s museums in the area

Co-op science class

Astronomy unit to go along with Minecraft Homeschool Science: Astronomy

Fine Arts:

Interest led using–

Art exhibits at local museums
